About me and How it works:

At Create! we are dedicated to cultivating imagination through the transformative power of art. Our private, virtual art lessons are tailored for each student and suitable for  both children and adults, offering accessible, engaging instruction that nurtures confidence, skill development, and self-expression.

After booking a class, we will reach out to you to find out what mediums you want to use for your class. Drawing classes require a pencil, a pencil blender or q-tip and an eraser.  Painting classes depend on your medium of choice, water color or acrylic which requires the paint, canvas or paper and an assortment of brushes.

Create! was founded by artist and educator Rula J. Brock, an award-winning visual artist who has received recognition from the National Endowment for the Arts and has taught at distinguished arts institutions including the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), the Corcoran College of Art + Design, McLean Project for the Arts, and others.
